Words from Cat, Lakshmi gift and Autumn Cleanse

I'd literally hit send on the letter yesterday and I received words from Cat so I am just following up with those below and also details of the cleanse I shared about last week. Many of you asked about it so I have included here and I decided to share the Lakshmi satsang and sādhanā. The energies of the practices have been a beautiful and potent medicine, when combined with the cleanse.

Words from Cat...
This week I have been pulled towards a sense of falling and it is now more truthful to call Friday’s class “a falling ritual”.
Burying my bare toes into earth and wondering - what if I didn’t have to catch myself in my fall?
An invitation over these days is to notice the earth around you ( clay, sand, mud, grass ect) and take a walk or just stand on her barefoot for as little or as long as you feel.
Bring a journal and any space, big or small will work - make it your temple. We will move, meditate, write and rest on the eve of our Autum Equinox in the northern hemisphere.
Autumn Cleanse & Lakshmi Sādhana
I did this cleanse for 10 days while working with the Lakshmi sādhanā I shared last month. It brought a lot of harmony and vitality to my system so I am sharing the details and also the teachings, mantra and meditation.
The most challenging part of the cleanse, for me, was to not have salt, chilli and garlic - I love my Asian and Italian flavours. Instead, I used good olive oil, honey, oregano, basil, smoked paprika and citrus to add flavour to fish, brown rice, griddled vegetables, gluten free pasta, salads, porridge.
I snacked on boiled eggs, raw balls and sweet potatoes - having a stash of those to nibble on was important for me to feel nourished and satiated. I drank lots of filter water and herbal teas.
For ten days eliminate:
Onion, garlic, chilli, salt, pepper, meat, dairy, gluten, sugar, caffeine, alcohol.
I felt my system benefited most from the simplicity of the diet. Simple, tasty foods, pulsing with life force. The closer you can get to the earth, the better, so if you grow veggies or know someone that does then that will make a big difference. This past week I have slowly introduced stronger flavours, with dal, salt on my eggs, nasi goreng and some very nostalgic toast and butter with a cup of Yorkshire Tea.
I'm thinking of asking Pete to write you a bonus letter next week with some recipes. What do you think?
